Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

Butler is the care navigation service operated by Parlor Health, Inc. for Medicare patients between office visits. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it.

We do not sell your information, and we never share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for marketing. Your consent to receive text messages from us is used only to send you messages about your own care.

Who we are

Parlor Health, Inc., operating as Butler, is a healthcare provider. When you enroll, we become part of your care team. That means this policy operates alongside — not instead of — your rights under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Notice of Privacy Practices we provide at enrollment.

What we collect

CategoryExamplesWhy
Identity and contact Name, date of birth, phone number, address To identify you and reach you

Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages, we use them to check in on your condition, share information from your care team, and coordinate services on your behalf.

No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except with the messaging service provider strictly necessary to deliver your messages.

How we use your information

We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary information with:

How long we keep it

We retain medical records and the documentation supporting our claims for as long as required by federal and state law, which for Medicare records is generally at least seven years and may be longer depending on your state.

How we protect it

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to workforce members who need it for your care, and every access is logged. We maintain written security policies and train our workforce on them.

Your rights

Under HIPAA you have the right to see and get a copy of your record, ask us to correct it, get a list of certain disclosures we have made, ask us to restrict how we use it, and ask us to communicate with you in a particular way. To exercise any of these, write to us at the address below. You also have the right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, and we will not retaliate against you for doing so.

Children

Our services are for Medicare beneficiaries. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use your health information will be communicated to you directly.
